Enjoy a stay in an eighteenth
century coaching stable set in gorgeous Herefordshire. The ancient village
of Putley with its 12th. century church is only a mile and a half from the
A438 and six miles west of the historic market town of Ledbury home of the
international poetry festival. Surrounded by woodlands and orchards renowned
for their blossom, through which many footpaths thread their way, traffic
congestion doesn't exist!
Things to do:
There is so much to see and do in uncluttered Herefordshire, the land of poetry,
music and sparkling nature. Walk the breathtaking Wye Valley National footpath,
play golf on many scenic courses nearby, visit the superb black and white
villages of North Herefordshire on the "Black and White Trail" and
enjoy a meal in one of the many local, half timbered pubs for real quality
and value.

woodburning stove for cold evenings, TV, teletext and radio, adjacent to the
guest's lounge is a kitchen where guests can prepare simple meals if they
don't want to venture out in the evenings. There are two doubles, one twin
and one single bedroom, all en-suite. Breakfast is served in the ground floor
stable dining room shown in the picture.
